On the inside, it is powered 2.27GHz octa-core HiSilicon Kirin 810 chip, which is based on a 7nm FinFET process and the same chipset found in the Huawei Nova 7i. It is paired with 4 gigabytes of RAM and 64 gigabytes of internal storage.

In addition, it also equipped with four high amplitude speakers tuned by Harman Kardon and quad-array microphones. Moreover, it has an 8MP auto-focus rear camera and ultrawide 8MP front camera, making the MatePad ideal for both entertainment and learning.
